Following the recent announcement regarding our merger with IPS Structural Adhesives, we are pleased to announce that as from the 17th January 2011 we will be fully operational from our new facility in Washington, Tyne & Wear, U.K.

Significant investment into the new facility has ensured we are in a position to offer a world-class manufacturing facility, supported by dedicated sales, technical and operational teams.

The majority of our manufacturing lines are now in place at the new facility, and as from the 17th January all commercial and operational staff will be working from the new site.

IPS Structural Adhesives Acquires Holdtite Adhesives Ltd. In Powerful Trans-Atlantic Merger

Monday, 19 October, 2010: Raleigh Durham, USA: Today IPS Structural Adhesives Corporation, of Durham, NC, USA, maker of Weld-On® branded products, announced the acquisition of Holdtite Adhesives, Ltd. of Newcastle, UK. This powerful merger of two leading, adhesive manufacturers results in a global company focused on providing a superior, broader offering of structural adhesive solutions to industrial and commercial markets.

John Reeves, President of IPS Structural Adhesives Corporation, notes, “This merger is driven by our mission to provide Smarter Adhesive Solutions on a global scale to the markets we serve. All of these technologies will now be available globally from one source. The merger also combines two of the strongest product development teams in the adhesives industry enabling IPS to respond to real customer needs with proven solutions.

IPS plans immediate investment into the Holdtite facilities and processes to implement manufacturing and technical service models that have proven so successful in North America. Likewise, IPS will adopt the outstanding information systems currently employed by Holdtite. “Product breadth is not the only place we have synergies between the two companies. We will adopt the best practices of each company to create a world-class organization for our customers” remarked Mr. Reeves,

The new company will also be able to offer its expanded product portfolio to a larger variety of market segments.
